1. You can learn anywhere- Books are portable, they are light and they are small in most cases. Even better, if you have an e-reader it is even lighter, it is very portable and can store multiple books. You can take your books almost anywhere meaning you can learn almost anywhere too. This is because books are packed with knowledge from people who know what they are talking about and so you can develop any skill from reading. Remember, it can take an author many years to write a book whereas for a youtube it will not take longer than a week to create a new video.   

2. Reading strengthens analytical skills- Reading will lead to better analytical and critical thinking skills. When you read, you take note of the details provided. You sort them out and determine who done it or what will happen often before you finished the book. So then, you have been to put your analytical and critical thinking skills to work.
