1. Can change your life- How many times have you heard of a book changing someone's life. I have read a few books but I think the book that has changed my life even if only slightly is The Unlucky Sperm Club by Nelson Tressler which I had the pleasure to read. It was a self-development book and autobiography in one and has helped me accept myself much more. It showed me that I can do whatever I like with my life and nothing can stop me. There are many books out there that have a reputation for changing lives and another one I am currently reading is Train you Brain-like an Olympian. There are many books which will help you but just look at the right ones, hint it is self-help books which will become you, friends.

2. Reading can be contagious- By reading books yourself you may also encourage others to do the same which is great. Many parents would like their children to read more and when you are exposing your kids to your book-reading habits, chances are they may also pick up a book. Parents who have children in primary school or nursery should be reading aloud to them or even together with them when they are old enough to read on their own. Studies have shown that reading together with your kids is highly inspirational for them to become avid readers themselves.
